Salus Contribution: Kaecie has over 25 years of Managed Care/Cost Containment experience. So 5 years ago when Salus needed a Director of Managed Care, we just had to have her! When Kaecie started with Salus, we had just acquired two existing claims management companies. Right off the bat, she was tasked with migrating all of these disparate books of business from their respective legacy software platforms to a single national bill review software platform. Talk about a tall order! But boy was she up for the challenge. Her team finished within Kaecie’s first year. It was accomplishments such as this, as well as her dedication and drive for meeting goals, that made her a shoo-in for a promotion. Since 2019 she’s been our VP of Managed Care and her contributions helped pave the way for Salus to go from managing only TX non-subscriber claims, to moving into the Workers’ Compensation industry, and now managing claims in over 30 jurisdictions.

Hobbies: Kaecie and her husband are living their best empty nester lives in Wylie, TX. They have 7 children and 13 grandchildren. As a family, they love traveling together. Kaecie’s favorite destination is the Eastern Caribbean, where she loves to snorkel, jet ski, and relax on the beach. Another way Kaecie likes to relax is with a good book. She’s a self proclaimed hopeless romantic so romance novels will always be her genre of choice. When she’s not traveling, Kaecie enjoys hiking and swimming. For Kaecie, hiking is a way to get in touch with nature while swimming laps is a fun way to stay in shape.
