Salus Contribution: In 2013, Megan graduated from Richland College with an Associates degree in Arts while also becoming a licensed Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster in the state of Texas. She began her career in workers’ comp with Anchor Claims Management, as an Assistant to the Adjusters. During this time, she was tasked with processing medical bills and gathering any medical records. Within five years, she worked her way up and became a Senior Claims Adjuster, investigating claims, handling lost time, litigating claims, managing subrogation claims, contacting clients and injured workers, and reviewing medical bills and records. It was not only her relevant experience in workers’ comp but Megan’s “can-do” attitude that made her a shoe-in for the job of our new Senior Claims Adjuster!
Now with Salus, she’s responsible for investigating claims to determine compensability as well as monitoring medical treatment and wages throughout the claims. We’re excited to welcome her to our team as our new Senior Claims Adjuster!

Hobbies: Megan and her family just purchased their first house in Benbrook, TX. She lives with her husband (Jacob) their two-year-old son (Elias), pup (Nala), and cat (Joey). In her free time, she loves going to the park and playing outside with Elias. She says “He likes to go grocery shopping with me and help me in the kitchen with cooking.” Megan also enjoys reading, watching movies, and shopping. Her favorite book series are Divergent and Harry Potter. Her go-to movies are action and musicals. Right now, her number one movie is The Greatest Showman. Can’t argue with that!
